A great brand needs exposure and repetition if it is to grow in stature and attract a following of loyal customers. One of the most common forms of brand building is off the page advertising, whether it be in newspapers or magazines. This helps to keep the company name and brand in front of all prospective clients. More companies are now looking to redirect some of their off the page budget to outdoor advertising. Anything from bus backs, sports perimeter, train stations, 48 sheet posters, taxis and roundabout sponsorship. This outdoor activity will supplement your existing off the page work and will help to generate you more enquiries.
Well, we did it! The Feckenham 40 Mile walk on Saturday 5th May 2012 was a great success, with over 50 people in total crossing the finish line! Whether they walked the last 10 miles, joined in at the 20 mile half way mark, or powered through the whole 40 miles, everyone at b1 and local friends got involved to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support – this years’ chosen charity.
E-shotting your customers is not new technology, however it seems to be something that is often missed or not even considered in marketing plans. Why? Because we all get annoying spam emails through and you don’t want to tarnish your company and brand with the same annoying brush. That’s understandable, however if you are using your own company database of prospects and customers, you won’t be spamming. Believe it or not, your customers may like some regular correspondence from you, the worse case scenario would be no reaction from your contact, however you’ll be in their mind should they decide to buy at a later date.

With the New Year comes optimism and the perfect opportunity to plan for the future growth of our businesses.
I cannot stress enough the importance of planning. A business without a plan really is like a ship without a rudder and it will never achieve its real value.
As business leaders we owe it to our staff and to ourselves to develop a real and meaningful game plan. How else can we assess and evaluate where we are, how we are doing and what needs to change? The game plan is our whole reason for being in business!
For any business, one of the most important considerations to make is the way your company will look to the outside world. This is your brand. And with hundreds of brands on view every minute of every day, its so vital that yours stands out.
“You should look and act today like the business you want it to be. Your brand is everything you do and should reflect what your business stands for.”
The current BBC website is already a fantastic site, with great interaction allowing users to move panels around so they can create their own BBC interface. The new beta version of the BBC website loses the interaction but it is so stylish, clean and crisp that I don’t care!
